Stepparent Adoption

We prepare the documents where a stepparent files a petition with the court to adopt his/her stepchild with the consent of the biological parents. This requirement may be waived in certain cases of mental deficiency, imprisonment or abandonment. Our fee is a flat $875 for all documents to be filed with the court for an uncontested stepparent adoption.  Court filing fees are not included.
